New Beginnings

First post. I scrapped the old "coming soon" placeholder and rebuilt this as an actual blog, using Eleventy instead of hand-writing every page.

The plan is simple: write up what I'm actually learning, in roughly the order I learn it. Right now that's JavaScript fundamentals through freeCodeCamp — array methods, sorting, object manipulation, that kind of thing. Once my BSc starts in September, this becomes a record of that too: coursework, the placement year search, whatever breaks along the way.

I'm keeping the posts unpolished on purpose. The point isn't to perform expertise I don't have yet, it's to have a real trail of the process — including the bits where I got stuck.
